RCom to offer Yahoo messenger to its mobile users

The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company Reliance Communication (RCom) on Monday said it has tied-up with internet media company Yahoo to offer 'Yahoo Instant Messenger' service to its mobile subscribers.

NEW DELHI: The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company Reliance Communication (RCom) on Monday said it has tied-up with internet media company Yahoo to offer 'Yahoo Instant Messenger' service to its mobile subscribers.

Mobile IM would allow its customers to chat live with other Reliance users besides Yahoo IM users across the world, the company said in a statement.

The users would be charged Rs five for each session logged, it said, adding that the service would be available on all mobile platforms.
