PUNCOM secures Rs 98 cr order from BSNL
Punjab Communications Limited (PUNCOM), a manufacturer and supplier of telecommunication and IT equipment, has secured highest ever order of Rs. 98.08 crore from BSNL for the supply of Dense Wave Division Multiplexer.

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Communications Limited (PUNCOM), a manufacturer and supplier of telecommunication and IT equipment, has secured highest ever order of Rs. 98.08 crore from BSNL for the supply of Dense Wave Division Multiplexer (DWDM- 10 G).
"It was a matter of great pride for the company to secure the single largest order of worth Rs. 98.08 crore in company's history of last 26 years," PUNCOM, Managing Director, Anurag Verma said here today.
This order is against BSNL tender in which Puncom participated and emerged as a winner among other competitors including Siemens, ITI and ZTE.
During the month of November alone, the company has secured total orders worth Rs. 118.29 crore. "Due to continuous and efforts of Puncom, orders worth Rs 118.29 crore have been booked in November month itself," he said.
Giving details of other orders, Puncom Marketing Head, Deepinder Dhillon said, the company has already secured two separate orders from BSNL worth Rs. 16.27 crore and Rs. 3.94 crore for the supply of 32 channel 2.5G DWDM equipment in November.
