One more case filed against Sun Pictures COO

CHENNAI: With another case being filed on Monday against Sun TV Chief Operating Officer Hansraj Saxena, a total of nine cases are being investigated against him.

Nemi Chand Sabak, producer of the Tamil film "Maapillai" had filed a cheating and intimidation case against Saxena alleging that the Sun TV COO had threatened and forcefully taken Rs 3.87 crore from him in a business deal, police said.

All the documents supporting his allegation was today produced at a local court here.

Saxena now is being named in nine cases involving production and distribution of three Tamil films - "Theeratha Vilayatu Pillai", "Endhiran" and "Maapillai".

Saxena was arrested on July 3 following a complaint filed by film distributor T S Selvaraj that he had not paid Rs 83 lakh that was due to him and intimated him.

Saxena, under judicial custody, is in Puzhal jail.
