Nokia launches new e-series mobile phones
Mobile communications major Nokia on Monday launched two new stylish e-mail-optimised models, Nokia E71 and Nokia E66, at Nokia Connection 2008 here in Singapore.
SINGAPORE: Mobile communications major Nokia on Monday launched two new stylish e-mail-optimised models, Nokia E71 and Nokia E66, at Nokia Connection 2008 here in Singapore.
Both e-series devices, which are targeted at business executives "who are passionate about work," would be available in the market in the second week of July all over the world.
While unveiling its e-series devices Vice President, Sales, South East Asia Pacific Chris Carr said, "The Nokia E71 and E66 were designed for the people who lead a mobile lifestyle and want quick and easy access to their personal and work emails. With both of these devices, we have responded to consumer feedback by making calender and contacts available at the touch of a button,"
"Nokia is an undisputed leader and we do not want to relinquish the position. Our mobile phones are widely applauded and appreciated all over the world by more than 1.5 billion users," he added.
The company has tied up with 1,000 (thousand) ISPs globally so as to enable access to the Internet for its e-series devices.
Describing the features of the sets, Carr said that people wanted well crafted devices that were beautiful and trendy. "Stainless steel was chosen as the core material for these devices, giving them additional strength and a touch of class. Further, E71 and E66 offer all the latest multimedia features that people desire", the Finnish mobile major said in its press release.
