MTS expands footprint to more locations in Karnataka

MTS has announced the expansion of its high speed mobile broadband service to eight more towns in Karnataka.

BANGALORE: Telecom brand MTS on Monday announced the expansion of its high speed mobile broadband service, MBlaze, to eight more towns in Karnataka.

The roll out of the brand to the eight towns of Chitradurga, Hospet, Bidar, Doddaballpur, Chikmagalur, Bagalkote, Karwar and Sarjapur, now takes the Mblaze footprint to 35 towns across the state.

"We plan to invest over Rs 100 crore for the expansion of our business in Karnataka. This expansion is in line with our endeavour to make high speed mobile broadband services available to maximum number of customers in the shortest possible time", according to Suresh S Kumar, COO, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh circles, MTS India.

MTS provides High Speed Mobile Broad services in over 150 Indian cities, including the top five metros.
