Kavveri Telecom launches new subsidiary

BANGALORE: Telecom products manufacturer Kavveri Telecom Limited today announced the launch of its new subsidiary dedicated for IBS (In-Building Coverage Solution) projects and services.

The subsidiary is called Kavveri Telecom Infrastructure Limited (KTIL).

Kavveri Telecom said in a statement that it has now embarked on the "Neutral Host Provider" services of IBS, which offers a plug and play service to operators.

"With its long experience in equipment manufacturing business, IBS services and nation-wide presence, Kavveri Telecom Products Limited has the capability to provide high quality cost effective solution for GSM/CDMA telecom service providers for the Build, Operate and Lease (BOL) model projects", the statement added.

According to the company, this new concept of plug and play (neutral host provider - IBS) facility would help GSM/CDMA telecom service providers significantly reduce their time to market their In-Building signal enhancement services.

"KTIL will be involved in the processes of acquiring partnership with builders and developers in offering technology and project management to efficiently manage the entire project", it said.
