IT and Telecom solution provider Prithvi Information sets $600 million revenue target by FY-13

Prithvi expects the major growth of company to come from public utility segment followed by telecom managed network services and city surveillance.

NEW DELHI: Indian IT and Telecom solution provider company Prithvi Information has set a revenue target of USD 600 million (Rs 2700 crore) by end of financial year 2012-13 on expectations of high growth in various segments of the sector.

"We are in last stage of consolidation. From now onward we expect organic growth of our company to increase. We are over USD 425 million (Rs 1914.45 cr) in terms of gross revenue. By end of FY'13, we expect our revenue to be in tune of USD 600 million," Nitin Vyakaranam , AVP-Global marketing and alliances, Prithvi Information Solutions told PTI.

Vyakaranam said Prithvi has been consolidating its business since last one and half years and added various segment in to its business.

"We now focus on three specific segments namely IT services, telecom engineering and manufacturing of telecom products," he said.

Prithvi expects the major growth of company to come from public utility segment followed by telecom managed network services and city surveillance.

"There is great need for information management in public utility space and companies need to build their IT infrastructure to manage their service. We see ample growth opportunity in this space," Vyakaranam said.

He mentioned that company is involved in setting up data-centres of few state governments and expects some new wins soon under e-governance projects.

Vyakaranam also sees boom for the company in the wake of government's intent to give preference to locally manufactured products.
