Instant messaging app Jio Chat to be available in 8 more countries

A spokesperson of Jio Chat said, “It will help in boosting our international presence and will also let our customers based in India to connect seamlessly with their folks abroad.”

MUMBAI: Mukesh Ambani-owned Jio Infocom Friday said its video call and instant messaging application - Jio Chat - can be downloaded and used in nine countries, said a company release.

Apart from India it will now be available in Canada, United States of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK), United Arab Emirates (UAE), South Africa, Singapore, Australia, China.

A spokesperson of Jio Chat said, “It will help in boosting our international presence and will also let our customers based in India to connect seamlessly with their folks abroad.”

Jio Chat is one among the suit of applications that the yet to launch Jio plans to offer as part of the digital experience. The company is expected to launch service later this month in some cities.
