Hinduja partners with Sistema Teleservices

CHENNAI: Hinduja Global Solutions, part of the Hinduja Group and a leading outsourcing solutions firm, on Thursday announced their strategic partnership with telecom service provider Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd. In order to manage the latter's operations.

Under the partnership, Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGSL) would manage the customer care operations of Sistema Shyam TeleServices's CDMA brand 'MTS', Hinduja Global Solutions Global Human Resources Strategy Executive Vice President Patrick David told reporters here.

Initially, HGSL's customer care center in the city would cater to the prepaid customers of MTS both in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, he added.

"Currently we have around 98 agents on this project. However, we have planned to employ over 400 people during the next 24 months," he explained.

HGSL currently had over 9,500 employees in the country out of which 2,500 constitute in Chennai facility, he said.
