HFCL Infotel has been allotted mobile series of 9877 for this CDMA service by Department of Telecom, said Singh.
Buoyed with the growth of mobile services in Punjab, the company expects to rope in 3 lakh subscribers under Ping mobile service by March 31, 2008.
"There is a lot of potential in Punjab for mobile service as it adds about 5-6 lakh subscribers per month for mobile services and the tele-density of this state is much higher compared to other states," he said.
