GTL earmarks Rs 1,000-cr for overseas acquisitions

MUMBAI: Passive infrastructure provider to the telecom sector, GTL, on Friday said that it was keen on acquisitions in the US, European Union and Asia-Pacific regions.
An investment of Rs 1,000-crore has been ear-marked for the purpose, GTL's Chairman and Managing Director, Manoj Tirodkar, said.
The acquisitions would be in network planning and professional services areas, he said.
GTL also plans to sell its KPO and BPO business in the current fiscal, he said.
