FM channel Chicholi Radio Vanya in tribal Gondi language

Chicholi Radio Vanya, an FM channel in tribal Gondi language, was launched by the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Department.

BETUL (MP): Chicholi Radio Vanya, an FM channel in tribal Gondi language, was launched by the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Department here today.

Inaugurating the Gondi Community radio station at 90.4 FM, which will relay programmes in the radius of 15 km, the Tribal Welfare Minister Vijay Shah said the station will be run by the locals, who would prepare the content themselves.

The radio station would help in popularising various government schemes, and also work as a bridge between the people and the government, he said.
