Etisalat's Cheers Mobile to offer free local calls

NEW DELHI: Cheers Mobile Services, the GSM brand from Etisalat DB Telecom, today said it will offer free local calling to its subscribers on April 16 and 17.

"This offer is a prelude to quality in offerings that we are globally renowned for, and what we have slated for them now, and going forward the firm," Etisalat DB Chief Commercial Officer Ahmed Al Hashmi said in a statement.

Etisalat DB, which offers services across 15 circles, recently crossed the one million subscribers mark.

"Beginning on April 16th, this special offer will last until midnight of Sunday. The offer will be applicable only in the home network," the statement said.

Etisalat DB Telecom is a joint venture between UAE'S largest telecom group, Etisalat and the Dynamix Balwas Group.
