Coolpad launches dual-SIM touchscreen phone for Rs 10,999

NEW DELHI: Chinese mobile handset maker China Wireless Techonolgies today launched its dual-mode touchscreen handset in the Indian market priced at Rs 10,999.

Hong-Kong stock exchange-listed China Wireless Technologies' Indian subsidiary Coolpad Communications has an exclusive distribution agreement with Reliance Communications' retail subsidiary, Reliance Webstore. Its handsets are available in the market under the 'Coolpad' brandname.

The 'Coolpad 2938' is a dual-mode touchscreen smartphone supporting both CDMA and GSM connections, has a 2.4-inch LCD screen, two-megapixel camera, music player, FM radio and has handwriting recognition capabilities, Reliance Communications said in a statement.

The handset is exclusively available at Reliance World and Reliance Mobile Stores, priced at Rs 10,999, it added.
