MUMBAI: The country's top mobile player Bharti Airtel on Monday said it will hold separate meetings of its shareholders and creditors on September 7 and 8 respectively for considering the transfer of its tower business to its wholly-owned subsidiary Bharti Infratel Ltd.
In a filing on Bombay Stock Exchange, Bharti Airtel said following the Delhi High Court order separate meetings of secured and unsecured creditors would be held on September 8. A meeting of shareholders would be held on September 7 for considering the scheme of arrangement with Bharti Infratel.
Shares of Bharti Airtel closed at Rs 852.20, up 1.60 per cent on BSE.
