Bharti Airtel outsources security contracts to Topsgrup

MUMBAI: Security solutions provider Topsgrup has won three year contracts worth Rs 250 crore from Bharti Airtel, Intel,Huawei Technologies and Embassy Tech Village, a person familiar with the matter said. The bulk of the deal, however, involves Airtel, the country’sNo. 1 carrier,which has offices across major cities and is trying to reduce manpower and cost to physically secure each location, this person said.

“With Airtel being our most recent client, we now secure three out of four of the largest mobile service providers in the world,” said Ramesh Iyer, vice-chairman andchief executive at Topsgrup, Airtel executives could not be reached for comment.
