Bharti Airtel gives Rs 30 auto credit to Chennai users

In addition to Rs 30 credit, Airtel has also launched a free 10 minutes credit for Airtel-to-Airtel calling for prepaid mobile customers.

NEW DELHI: Sunil Mittal-driven Bharti Airtel on Wednesday offered an automated talk time credit of up to Rs 30 for all Airtel prepaid mobile customers in Chennai.

Airtel has announced the measures to facilitate communication between Airtel customers and their loved ones, the telco said in a statement, adding that the unprecedented rains and floods in Chennai have disrupted normal life.

In addition to Rs 30 credit, Airtel has also launched a free 10 minutes credit for Airtel-to-Airtel calling for prepaid mobile customers and free credit of 50MB mobile data for Airtel prepaid mobile customers with a validity of 2 days.

“Airtel postpaid and fixed line customers whose bills are due to be paid immediately will get an extended time to make the payment and will experience uninterrupted services,” the company added.

The telcos’ services have been impacted in some regions, following uninterrupted rains and water logging.
