Bharti Airtel appoints new Ex Director (North)
Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Sunday announced that it has appointed Syed Safawi as Executive Director - Northern region.

NEW DELHI: Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Sunday announced that it has appointed Syed Safawi as Executive Director - Northern region.
Safawi, who has worked with Coca Cola Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation and TTK group, has been assigned the task of leading Airtel's initiatives in northern region including Delhi and NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
He will report to company President (Mobile Services) Sanjay Kapoor, a company statement said.
Safawi will succeed Sanjay Nandrajog who has taken over as Executive Director - International Operations and Managed Services.
