Astra Microwave bags Rs 21.6 cr order from Bangalore firm

Astra Microwave Products has bagged an order valued at Rs 21.6 crore for design, development, testing, installation and commissioning of transmit receive modules and MET Towers from ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network, Bangalore.

MUMBAI: Astra Microwave Products has bagged an order valued at Rs 21.6 crore for design, development, testing, installation and commissioning of transmit receive modules and MET Towers from ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network, Bangalore. The contract will be completed in 12 months.

The company is engaged in designing and manufacturing high value-added radio frequency and microwave super components. The products are widely used in VSAT operations, radars, navigational equipment, public mobile trunk radio, WLL, cellular GSM and PCS networks.

Earlier the company has entered into a non-exclusive memorandum of understanding with M Raytheon Company, US to identify and explore technologies and products. At 11:57 am, Astra Microwave shares were up 0.68 per cent at Rs 110.85 on BSE.
