Airtel to launch 4G trials in Delhi on June 18

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel, India’s leading private telecom operator, is preparing to launch 4G services in Delhi circle, with trials starting on June 18.

The telecom major will be offering 4G services through 2300MHz band using the TDD-LTE technology in Delhi. The company is working with Chinese equipment vendor Huawei for providing 4G services in the circle.

The company has started sending invites for testing of 4G services.

Airtel recently launched 4G services in Chennai and Hyderabad on the 1800 MHz band based using the FDD-LTE technology. In Mumbai, the company recently launched 4G services and also offers TDD-LTE services in Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Haryana.
