Airtel to conduct Redmi Note 4G offline flash sales on January 16

NEW DELHI: India’s largest telco Bharti Airtel will conduct offline flash sales of the Redmi Note 4G starting 3 pm across its 133 stores in 6 cities- Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Kolkata.

In addition, the operator will celebrate January 16 as ‘Mi Day’ and consumers can walk-in to the nearest Airtel store and purchase Redmi Note 4G without any pre-booking, the company said in a statement.

Airtel’s prepaid customers can also purchase the Redmi Note 4G at the store on recharging their connection with at least 1 GB 3G data pack.

The telco also allows customers purchasing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G with a 4G SIM and to experience 4G services on their device in cities where Airtel offers 4G services.

In cities where Airtel 4G services are not yet available, customers will be automatically upgraded to 4G at the same tariff as their existing 3G data packs once 4G services are launched in their city, the company added.
