Airtel ties up with Affle for improved SMS
Airtel says it has tied up with Affle to provide an upgraded SMS 2.0 service to its subscribers in Delhi and NCR.

NEW DELHI: Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel on Thursday said it has tied up with Affle, a company operating in mobile media innovations space, to provide an upgraded SMS 2.0 service to its subscribers in Delhi and NCR.
Affle's SMS 2.0 application converges text messaging with content and advertising, Airtel said in a statement.
"We selected SMS 2.0 as we feel it enriches our user's experience with SMSing, while at the same time creating a viable and extremely exciting revenue model," Bharti Airtel Head-Content and New Product Development P S Parasuram said.
