Airtel launches FWP services in Kerala

KOCHI: Bharti Airtel, the country's leading telecom services provider, on Friday launched its 'Air Mega' fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) services in Kerala.
In the first phase of roll out, the services would be launched in key cities like Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode, Ramgopal Vallath, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Bharati Airtel Ltd, Kerala Circle, told reporters here.
With this launch, Airtel completes its total telecom services portfolio for all segments, he added.
The services would be made available in more than 470 towns and locations across the state and would be provided at the customer's doorstep for the first time in India.
Vallath claimed Airtel Mega was an innovative wireless phone that is feature rich and comes with value based tariff plans.

Airtel Mega operates on GSM network and would be available in attractive postpaid and prepaid tariff plans. Customers would also be offered a unique boquet of valued added services including Hello Tunes, SMS, Caller ID, he said.Start a SIP with as low as ₹500 with ET Money App!
