Airtel launches free-voice calling packs for broadband customers
It allows unlimited free local calls with the pack priced at just Rs. 49 per month and unlimited free STD and local calls at just Rs. 99 per month.
The telco has launched two first-of-its-kind voice calling packs for its broadband customers offering unlimited free voice calls at affordable price on both— fixed line and mobile, the company in a statement said.
The new offer, Airtel said, are exclusively for non-commercial use.
It allows unlimited free local calls with the pack priced at just Rs. 49 per month and unlimited free STD and local calls at just Rs. 99 per month to any network, anywhere in the country.
Airtel provides fixed-line telephone and broadband services for homes and businesses in 87 cities across India.
In a recent study by telecom regulator TRAI, Airtel emerged as the top gainer in fixed-line business while state-owned BSNL was ranked as top loser of fixed-line customers in the month of February.
Starting from May 1, BSNL had also announced free voice calling from landline phones during night hours.
