Airtel launches cash prize contest in Punjab
Cellular service provider Airtel on Wednesday announced the launch of contest 'Number Dabao, Paisa Pao' in which all postpaid and prepaid customers in Punjab will have an opportunity to win cash prizes.

CHANDIGARH: Cellular service provider Airtel on Wednesday announced the launch of contest 'Number Dabao, Paisa Pao' in which all postpaid and prepaid customers in Punjab will have an opportunity to win cash prizes.
"As the festive season approaches, Airtel is offering cash prizes to our customers so that they can make their celebrations even more exciting and enjoyable," Rajiv Jaitly, CEO (Mobile Services), Bharti Airtel, Punjab Circle said in a release.
The first prize is Rs 2 lakh, the second prize is Rs 1 lakh and there are daily cash prizes aggregating Rs 2 lakh.
To participate through a Voice Call, a customer just needs to call 56465, say "Number" and then answer some simple questions. For each correct answer, the customer will get 10 points.
"For participating through SMS, a customer needs to send a sms NUM to 56465 and answer the questions sent to him by return SMS," Rajiv said.
There are daily prizes for the highest scorer of the day. The Airtel Number Dabao, Paisa Pao contest is now open and closes on October 7, 2007.
Calls to 56465 are charged at Rs 6 per minute, while each SMS to 56465 costs Rs 3, he said.
