Airtel launches 'background music'

Mobile service provider, Airtel, today said it has launched Airtel "Background Music", a service that allows customers to set their favourite song or instrumental piece as background music during a call.

CHENNAI: Mobile service provider, Airtel, today said it has launched Airtel "Background Music", a service that allows customers to set their favourite song or instrumental piece as background music during a call.

The feature enables Airtel customers to play their favourite music in the background while talking on the phone. The BGM can be selected from songs on the Airtel IVR, a company release said.
