Airtel bags QCI-DL Shah Award on economics of quality

Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Sunday said it has been awarded QCI-DL Shah National Award on Economics of Quality.

NEW DELHI: Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Sunday said it has been awarded QCI-DL Shah National Award on Economics of Quality.

President A P J Abdul Kalam presented the award to the company in recognition of its initiatives to enhance customer delight using Six Sigma methodology, a company statement said here. The award was conferred to the Enterprise Services (Carriers) business unit of Bharti Airtel, it said.

The award, instituted by the Quality Council of India (QCI), seeks to promote business excellence and is the highest recognition of quality initiatives in the country.
