Court was anguished as the ADA Group employee was allegedly “signalling” the witness to “say no” to a question during the cross examination.
The court was anguished as the ADA Group employee was allegedly “signalling” the witness to “say no” to a question during the cross examination.
“Why are you (RADAG’s employee) signalling to the witness? I have seen you giving signal to the witness to say no. Who are you? Why are you standing here in front? You go outside. I have seen you shaking your head,” Special CBI Judge OP Saini said.
The incident took place during the cross examination of prosecution witness Yogesh Sharma, President (Finance), Anant Raj Industries.
The special judge took exception that the RADAG employee was standing near his dais and directed him to go outside the court room. After the RADAG’s employee left the courtroom, the judge told Sharma, “You will not look here and there. You answer me directly.”
