Thailand to host activities in India for promoting tourism
With a view to attract more tourists from India, Thailand on Friday announced it will launch a host of activities including road shows in different cities of India.
NEW DELHI: With a view to attract more tourists from India, Thailand on Friday announced it will launch a host of activities including road shows in different cities of India.
"Last year, more than six lakh Indians visited our country and we are expecting around 20 per cent increase in this number" Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) Director Malinee Kitapanich told reporters.
TCEB is government-owned organisation for the promotion of Corporate Meetings, Incentive events, Conventions and Exhibitions in Thailand, collectively known by the acronym 'Mice'.
In order to showcase Thailand's potential as Mice destination among the Indian business communities, TCEB is launching a major road show in India, she added.
TCEB also announced the promotional package, 'Thanks a million' for the event organisers, associations, non-profit organisations and various other communities to bring more delegations to Thailand.
