TAAI's Sunil Kumar elected as UFTAA president

Kumar was unanimously elected at the Annual General Assembly of UFTAA held at Brussels on November 9, TAAI said in a statement.

MUMBAI: Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) today said its president Sunil Kumar has been elected as president of UFTAA (The United Federation of Travel Agents' Associations).

UFTAA is a global body representing the travel agency and tourism industry.

Kumar was unanimously elected at the Annual General Assembly of UFTAA held at Brussels on November 9, TAAI said in a statement.

Yossi Fatael of ITAO was elected as the vice president and SG Kaka of Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) was elected as the vice president, finance, it said.

The Board of UFTAA, which comprises nine elected officers, will soon meet and assign portfolios and committees, it added.
