MTDC to use integrated communication practises to promote tourism in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation decides to appoint marketing agency to promote tourism in the state.

PUNE: Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) announced its plan to appoint new communication agencies to promote Maharashtra as one of the best tourism destinations in the country. It has invited applications from experienced advertisement companies/agencies.

MTDC plans to reach domestic and international potential tourist through market strategy, promotional strategy and digital media recommendations across traditional and new age multi-platform delivery platforms such as Internet, smart phones, social media(blogging, online promotion) etc.

"This is a part of a three pronged strategy to promote tourism in the state. With a strong marketing campaign and increased interest in the state we should be able to deliver on the claims we are making," said Chhagan Bhujabal, state tourism minister.
