MTDC signs MOU to provide 2-wheeler rental service for tourists visiting Maharashtra
The service will kick-start in the hill station of Mahabaleshwar and will steadily be introduced at various other popular tourist destinations throughout the state.

To avail these rental services, tourists will be required to provide basic identity proof. The rental charges will be based on duration or distance to suit the requirements of the traveller.
“Two wheelers have long been a popular commute choice for tourists since not only is it economical and convenient but also time efficient... Road infrastructure in Maharashtra is encouraging for safe two wheeler travel, " Paraag Jaiin Nainuttia, managing directo, MTDC said in a press statement.
MTDC has been at the forefront of development and maintenance of various tourist sites and at present owns and maintains resorts in these regions. Currently, the state tourism agency owns and operates 77 resorts in the state.
