J&K Government mulling to develop Jammu as heritage city
The officials, meanwhile, informed Wani that out of Rs 6.67 crore project cost, an amount of Rs 3 crore has been made available to executing agencies so far.
"Jammu would be developed as Heritage city. Several projects are underway with regards to its beautification," Minister for Roads and Buildings and Mechanical Engineering, Abdul Majid Wani said while interacting with the representatives of Raghunath Bazar Business Association here.
The minister, while reviewing the beautification of the Bazar, informed that the project envisages to give the market a new look and showcase it as a local heritage, as it was the hub of the business activity.
