Israel witnesses 44% growth in Indian tourist arrivals in October 2015

"Israel is a blend of history, tradition and modern cosmopolitan experience. The destination offers tourism aspects for all kind of age groups and this is evident from the latest increase in Indian arrivals," Hassan Madah, director, Israel Ministry of Tourism, India said in a press statement.
The country has seen growth in tourist arrivals from across the globe including China (116%), Portugal (97%) and Germany (64%) among others. Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) plans to expand the varied products offering of the destination and is targeting the globetrotting Indian travelers.
" We are working on further enhancing the destination visibility through traditional as well as online media and also looking at India as a significant emerging market for the destination," added Madah.
Overall tourist arrivals to Israel have increased by 5 per cent in October 2015, over the same period last year.
Some of the tourists hotspots in the country include The Dead Sea, the city of Tel Aviv, the red sea resort, Eilat, Jerusalem and other regions like Haifa, Acre, Massada, Negev Desert, Mountains of Galilee, etc. Ends.
