Hotel Leelaventure to invest in overseas firms
Hotel Leelaventure on Monday said it would invest in overseas corporate bodies and set up a subsidiary, as it seeks to expand its presence abroad.
The Board of the company, which plans to set up a susbidiary, met on September 2 and approved investment in overseas corporate bodies, the Mumbai-based firm informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Hotel Leelaventure would buy 250 acres of land from the Goa Government to develop a golf course, a golf academy and club houses at Goa, it said.
The company has in principle entered into management contracts for maintaining hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jaipur.
Shares of Hotel Leelaventure were trading at Rs 294.10, up 0.60 per cent, on BSE.
