Frost covers tourist destination Munnar in Kerala as temperatures drop below zero
Local business and hotel owners are enthusiastic about the tourist inflow which has spiked over the last few days.
"The temperature recorded this morning was -2 degree Celsius in Nallathanni near Munnar town. We hope the temperature will dip more in the coming days," The News Minute quoted an official from United Planters Association of South India (UPASI), a tea research foundation, as saying.

The News Minute report quoted Munnar Hotel and Restaurant Association (MHRA) President VV George requesting the Kerala government to restore connectivity through better roads to the hill station.
