Clayedge employs new concept of ‘co-ownership’ in farm tourism space
Clayedge Farm (P) Ltd, which manages a newly promoted organic farm near Kochi, has employed the concept of ‘co-ownership’ in the farm tourism sector.
Company's eco-friendly farm has come up in a 10 acre waterfront property near Kodungallur. It has a fish farm and 300 varieties of fruit, medicinal and flowering plants, the Giby Mathew, chief promoter said here in a press conference.
The ownership of the farm will be split into 40 equal units and 16 units will be offered to the investors. The promoters will keep 16 units while the remaining 8 units will be held by the company. Each shareholder will co-own 30 cents of undivided property.
The investor will also get 40 free room nights which he can either use or sell. Clayedge Farms proposes to build 5 luxury cottages with 7 rooms and tent accommodation in the farm.
