Voylla Fashions on hiring spree, ropes in execs from Fabindia, Bata India

Jaipur-based fashion jewellery retailers plans to hire 300 people in different divisions

NEW DELHI Jewellery firm Voylla Fashions has roped in Tapan Roychoudhury and Prashant Sharma from Fabindia and Bata India to head expansion of offline business and finance respectively. “We are in an exciting phase at present and are glad to have people who want to be an integral part of this growth story. As we get aggressive on our expansion plans, we’ll be strengthening our task force at all levels and have fresh and experienced talent join us,” said Vishwas Shringi, chief executive and founder of Voylla Fashions. The Jaipur-based company, which raised $15 million from private equity firm Peepul Capital last month, is looking to hire 300 more people across retail, technology, manufacturing, marketing and merchandising divisions. At present it has 180 employees. Founded in 2012, Voylla sells fashion jewellery on online marketplaces Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Jabong, Yepme and Voonik, along with its own website. The company also has offline presence in Pune, Bengaluru and Nagpur via shop-in-shop format at Central Mall.
