Timex gets product licence of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Watch maker Timex Group India said it has got the licence from the International Cricket Council for launching products using the logo of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

NEW DELHI: Watch maker Timex Group India said it has got the licence from the International Cricket Council for launching products using the logo of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 is scheduled to be held in the Indian subcontinent.

Under the arrangement, the company said it would launch limited edition of 11 watches with ICC logo in 2011.

"The ICC cricket World Cup 2011 is the most anticipated cricket event in the world and it gives me immense pleasure to announce Timex association in this high profile event," Kapil Kapoor, Vice Chairman of TGIL Board, said.

The company today launched its new 'Statement series' with brand ambassador and Australian cricketer Brett Lee.
