TICI to open 120 retail outlets

TI Cycles of India (TICI), part of the $2.4 billion Murugappa Group, will invest Rs 30 cores for their retail expansion plans and will open 120 retail outlets across India by 2009.

HYDERABAD: TI Cycles of India (TICI), part of the $2.4 billion Murugappa Group, will invest Rs 30 cores for their retail expansion plans and will open 120 retail outlets across India by 2009.

The TICI opened its first company owned company operated (COCO) store, BSA Go in Hyderabad and said that out of 120 exclusive retail stores, 15 would be COCO stores.

TICI VP Sales & Marketing B K Singh said, "With the opening of the exclusive store in Hyderabad, our consumers from the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad will benefit significantly. The store will offer a premium buying experience and quality service."

The BSA Go stores will be located in leading metros, with a population of over one million targeting the urban youth who are inclined towards fitness, sports and health," Singh said.
