Tara Ultimo to come up with 50 outlets in next two years
Mumbai-based Tara Ultimo, a company manufacturing and retailing in jewellery, plans to come up with 50 outlets across India in the next two years.
"We will have our presence in almost all the states beginning from Goa. The stores are planned in most of the two tier and three tier cities," Priti Shah, Manager (Sales), Tara Jewels Exports said.
The Rs 1,243-crore company after spreading its wing in places like New York, Germany, Australia, Japan, China, UK and Los Angeles, has decided to consolidate its position in India's retail market.
After Goa, the stores are planned in Mumbai and Chandigarh followed by Pune, Raipur, Mumbai (second store), Delhi and South Indian towns, she stated.
The company launched its maiden first store in Goa in association with states major industrial group Alcon.
The flagship company, Tara group, was established in 1994 in Mumbai with the aim to manufacture and export jewellery.
