Snapdeal appoints Animesh Sharma as CTO of exclusively.com

NEW DELHI: Snapdeal has appointed Animesh Sharma as its chief technology officer of the recently-acquired exclusively.com. Prior to his current appointment, Sharma was working with Wize Commerce (formerly Nextag) for almost a decade, according to a release issued by Snapdeal. At Wize Commerce, he served as vice president – engineering.

There he was responsible for managing all aspects of engineering, services and live site operations along with leading a team of over a 100 engineers across multiple verticals. During his tenure at Wize Commerce, Sharma was instrumental in building and managing some of the most critical technology modules – travel, store and mobile application.
