Shopper's Stop net quadruples to 10 cr on higher sales

Shopper's Stop, retail arm of K Raheja Group, has quadrupled its quarterly net profit to Rs 10 crore on higher sales.

MUMBAI: Shopper’s Stop, retail arm of K Raheja Group, has quadrupled its quarterly net profit to Rs 10 crore on higher sales. The retailer, which also owns chains such as Crossword, Mothercare and Hypermarket, has reported a 27% increase in sales at Rs 385.7 crore mainly because of higher consumer demand.

“Rise in consumer confidence coupled with higher volumes, conversion ratio and transaction size has given us a good growth,” said Govind Shrikhande, customer care associate & MD.

“We achieved operating margin growth of 65% over last year.”
