SC extends stay on CCI's Amazon fine recovery

The Supreme Court on Monday extended its stay on the recovery of the '202-crore penalty imposed by the Competition Commission of India on Amazon.Com NV Holdings for its 2019 purchase of 49% stake in a Future group entity. The apex court said the "protection" granted to the ecommerce firm on May 8 will continue till the next hearing on September 20.
