PepsiCo names Suchitra Rajendra as new HR head

NEW DELHI: American Beverage and snacks maker PepsiCo has named company veteran Suchitra Rajendra as vice president, human resources for the India region.

Rajendra succeeds Samik Basu, who recently quit after a 14-year stint at the maker of Pepsi and Mountain Dew fizzy drinks and Kurkure snacks.

Rajendra moves from her previous role as senior director, HR for Indo-China in the Asia-Pacific region and was based in Bangkok. She had joined PepsiCo in 2006.
