Mahindra Group retail arm to invest Rs 100 cr

The retail arm of Mahindra Group is investing up to Rs 100 crore in the first phase of expansion of its speciality retail chain 'Mom & Me'.

"After opening stores in Ahmedabad, Pune, Ludhiana and Delhi, we will continue to open new stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore," said Mahindra Retail Pvt Ltd MD K Venkataraman while inaugurating its flagship store in Delhi on Wednesday.

But, he did not specify any target number for stores to be opened in the coming months. Mom & Me offers apparels, accessories and other products for expecting mothers, mothers, infants and young children.
