Localbanya.com signs pact with Vinculum Solutions to power fulfillment needs

NEW DELHI: Online grocer Localbanya.com on Monday announced a strategic partnership with software firm Vinculum Solutions to power its back-end fulfillment requirements.

With operations in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune and Hyderabad, Localbanya is looking to expand rapidly and with a third round of funding earlier this year, is investing heavily in core technology and infrastructure departments, a news release said.

Jobin Abraham, the firm's vice president-technology said in a statement: "This year, we are focused on taking Localbanya across the country, to enable which we need to invest in scalable and proven solutions, given the complex nature of our business."

Vinculum Solutions provides software as a service (SaaS) - whereby the vendor provides applications over a network - and is present in several Southeast Asian markets. It has a SaaS-based order management service, Vin eRetail, to work on real-time inventory visibility and manage orders across multiple locations.
