“We are looking forward towards a 100 year plan (in India),” Sandeep Saran said at the Vibrant Gujarat 2019 summit in Gandhinagar.
“We are looking forward towards a 100 year plan (in India),” he said at the Vibrant Gujarat 2019 summit in Gandhinagar on Sunday. While we have been sourcing substantial cotton fabric worth Rs 2000 cr, we are keen to look at alternative fibres, he said. “We are conducting pilots on fabrics from PET bottles that have been successful. Then there are fibres from bamboo, banana and jute. We seek to scale up sourcing of alternative fabrics,” he said.
