Horton Internationals steps up focus on India

BANGALORE: US-based executive search firm Horton International has drawn up expansion plans for India. It is rolling out its niche practices with the launch of Maritime, Pharma and Healthcare in the Indian market. "We plan to become amongst the top five executive search firms in India by 2016, said Robin Billen, Managing Partner of Horton International.

"India was strategically a talent pool in the past but with increasing growth of expats in the country - it is turning out to a key hub for our industry," said Billen. The India plans are in line with the focus on BRIC countries which are the growth drivers for the world economy, he added.

The firm plans to open four offices in India in the next two years and focus on Media, Retail, FMCG amongst others. The search firm also aims to strengthen its network in Singapore, Middle East, Germany, parts of Europe & Africa & America and encourage cross-border business.
