Hemchandra Jhaveri moves to Home Solutions Retail
Home Solutions, which currently does not have a CEO and is being managed by Kishore Biyani himself, was earlier headed by Raghu Pillai who had left the company to join Reliance Retail.

MUMBAI: Hemchandra Jhaveri, senior executive president of Madura Garments, has taken over as the CEO of Home Solutions Retail, the home improvement and consumer electronics format of the Kishore Biyani-led Future Group. Mr Jhaveri had joined the Aditya Birla Group as country manager nearly four years ago to head its garment company Madura Garments. He had replaced Prakash Nedungadi and was reporting to Vikram Rao, the group president.
Confirming the move Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani said: “With his huge experience in the consumer-led business, he will direct the future growth of the entire business under Home Solutions.” Home Solutions, which currently does not have a CEO and is being managed by Kishore Biyani himself, was earlier headed by Raghu Pillai who had left the company to join Reliance Retail.
Mr Jhaveri, who has earlier worked with companies like Nike, McDowell and Wipro (Consumer Products) was responsible for bringing the Esprit brand in India during his stint with Madura Garments.
Home Solutions currently operates in various formats including Home Town, E-Zone (high-end electronics), Collection i (furniture and furnishings), Furniture Bazaar (value furniture), Electronic Bazaar (value electronics) and Got IT (knick knacks and useful tools). As on date, Home Solutions currently has 19 eZone, 10 Collection i, 3 HomeTown, 62 Electronics Bazaar, 64 Furniture Bazaar and 45 Got IT outlets across 40 cities in India.
